Even in a place like Pattaya, on a street like Soi 6, there are those who go “Above and Beyond” the call of duty, and do everything they can to please. One such hero is known as Tuktik, a lovely lass from Route 69 bar. She is multi talented, seen here in this recent video on her birthday, giving it a go singing traditional Thai classics. Quite a strong pair of lungs on her.
and in this second video, she is giving her famous sales pitch (warning: contains language)
many, many satisfied customers have commented on the quality of service that Tuktik provides. She is known to be accomodating to any need that you care to imagine. All for a low, low price. Some have fallen in love with her and describe her in the most glowing terms. But for Tuktik this is just business. She sees many customers each day. She is an expert at removing money from your wallet and into her purse, so much that it has built her a house back home in the countryside, for her mother and father, and for her children. Now if you are good at maths and I told you she charges from just 1000 baht for her services, and that a house costs in the range of millions of baht, then you can work out that she must have many customers and repeat customers.
we would recommend a visit even for newbies, because an experienced lady knows her trade and will make you feel at ease even if you are nervous and haven’t been in Pattaya before. This can save some awkwardness and miscommunications about what you want, because with Tuktik everything is on the menu and she can speak English. Give it a try, you probably won’t regret it.
Route 69 is located roughly halfway along soi 6. it is owned by the same owner as Chili bar and the new Candy bar. Some staff may be shuttled between the bars if there is a shortage. The other girls do not seem to be jealous of tuktik for her popularity, so don’t be afraid to ask for her by name, someone will know where she is if you cannot see her in her usual spot standing at the front of the bar. Route 69 is a closed bar with an open section at the front, the inside has airconditioning and a large couch to sit on, as well as a bar area with the usual stools for seating. on the walls are the names of people who have rung the bell over the years. There is a TV but it only plays a slideshow of mostly ex-employees of the bar. There is a laptop and you can select your music on youtube but no thai music is the policy. The stairs are a bit steep to get to the first floor so if this is a concern maybe you will need to go off site for your services.
